Host: Jamie Johnson - BSc (Hons), MSc, PGCE. Jamie is a Science teacher who is passionate about breaking down complex topics into digestible bites for students.

Why is it that there is not enough drinking water in the world, when there are so many oceans?

This lesson attempts to answer this question, by discussing different types of substances, classifying them as pure or not, and then describing the steps that are taken in separating chemicals and why they work.

This lesson introduces concepts of filtration, distillation, and chromatography and how they work.

Safeguarding reminder:  We know that the safety of your child is of the utmost important. This is why we use Zoom's Webinar feature to provide our live classes, where by default, your child's webcam and microphone are disabled.
