Host: Eleanor is an English teacher specialising in KS3 and KS4 Literature and Language based in London. She completed her teacher training at the Institute of Education in 2016 and has been working in London schools ever since.

We will look at examples of figurative language (metaphor, simile, personification) used effectively in creative writing and pick apart what it is that makes it work, we will then apply this knowledge to a GCSE English Language creative writing task.
